In unit trust schemes, fund managers manage, market and value the funds invested by the investors. Where OSK Trustees is appointed as trustee, we take custody and control of all securities, property and assets of the unit trust scheme and hold it in trust for the investors/unit holders in accordance with the trust deed and other requirements as may be specified by the Securities Commission and other applicable securities laws.

As trustee, OSK Trustees ensures that the provisions of a prospectus relating to any unit trust scheme do not contain any matter which is inconsistent with the provisions and covenants of the trust deed as well as exercise reasonable diligence to ascertain whether any breach of the covenants of the trust deed or contravention with the provisions of the Securities Commission Act 1993 has occurred.
